On Thursday morning, Siddharth Shukla, the very renowned television and film actor and Bigg Boss 13 victor, died after a severe heart attack.

He was 40 years old at the time. The news of his unexpected death was verified by Mumbai's Cooper Hospital, leaving hundreds of his admirers and celebrities in a state of shock and bewilderment. Shukla had a severe heart attack in the morning, according to the hospital, and was confirmed dead.


Shukla was most known for his role as Balika Vadhu in the long-running TV programme. Balika Vadhu, a 2008 drama about child marriage, was India's most-watched show that year. The cast comprised some of the industry's biggest personalities, including Sidharth Shukla, Surekha Sikri, and Vikrant Massey, all of whom went on to win accolades. Unfortunately, three of the show's actors are no more.


Shukla began his entertainment career as a model before landing a starring part in the television series "Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na."


He also starred on series such as ‘Jaane Pehchaane Se... Ye Ajnabbi and Love U Zindagi,' but it was with ‘Balika Vadhu' that he became a household name. He also appeared in and won reality programmes such as Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7, and Bigg Boss 13.


Shukla made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with a supporting part in the Karan Johar-produced 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.'
