Biopics of Madhubala and Meena Kumari would be a dream come true for Kriti Sanon

Biopics of Madhubala and Meena Kumari would be a dream come true for Kriti Sanon

"My favourite actors are Madhubala and Meena Kumari," Kriti told ETimes "Even though they've made a name for themselves in the film business, certain actors and actresses don't seem to be well known. However, they should be made aware of by the general public as well. Aside from Madhubalaji, I'd want to portray Meena Kumariji in her biography, which is now under development. It would be fascinating to discover more about both of them, as they were both historical icons."

It's been rumoured for years that a biopic of Madhubala is in the works. Madhu Bhushan, the sister of the Mughal-E-Azam actress, is reportedly interested in making a film on her. In spite of this, the situation has not changed.

A surrogate mother in Mimi, the actress's most recent film, has garnered a lot of praise. To be more specific, the film is an adaptation of the Marathi film Mala Ai Vhhaychy, directed by Laxman Utekar Adipurush, Bachchan Pandey, Bhediya, Ganapath, and Dinesh Vijan's unnamed film with Rajkummar Rao are among her upcoming projects.
